IRAQ : A SERIES OF CAR BOMB KILLS 20Seven car bombs exploded in Iraq killing 20 people and wounding 65 this morning. in the al-Adhamiyah district the bombs were aiming Security Forces and the army.
Four bombs exploded in the capital killing at least thirteen people.

SYRIA : COMPLETE PULLBACK ACCOMPLISHEDIn a letter to the United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan, Syria's military formally announced its full withdrawal from Lebanon.
"The Syrian Arab Republic wishes to formally notify you that all Syrian military and security forces deployed in Lebanon went home today to Syria after carrying out several deployments in recent years." said the statement, adding that,

IRAQ : AP CAMERAMAN KILLEDSaleh Ibrahim was working as a cameraman for the Associated Press, nearby al-Yarmuk surroundings when he was hit on the back of the head by some bullets. Apparently a gunfight began just after an explosion when Saleh and his colleague, Mohamed Ibrahim, where close-by. The dead journalist was in his early 30s, as al-Jazeera reports, Iraqi police did not interfere with what happened due to the presence of US military that will investigate.

PALESTINE : ABBAS IS CHANGING ARMY LEADERSPalestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is changing some key positions in the security forces, naming new leaders and getting rid of Arafat's old men. Many of the oldest officials are forced to give up, as the age limit is now 60.

IRAQ : TWO CAR BOMBS IN TIKRIT, SIX KILLEDAt least six people died and 26 were wounded this morning in Tikrit when two car bombs exploded. The first bomb blew off around 8 am in the morning outside a police academy, the second one was heard some minutes later close to another army building.
