    A candidate from the Iyad Allawi's interim Prime Minister list was killed on Tuesday by Iraqi resistance group in the southern city of Basra, as reported by officials from Baghdad and Basra.

    No further details regarding the way he was assassinated are available.

    This has to be cosidered, anyway, as an attempt like many others to stop the Iraqi National Guard and the United States forces.
