    According to the Iraqi police a car bomb exploded on Friday outside a Shia mosque in Baghdad, killing 10 people and wounding 40.

    Shia worshippers were celebrating the "Eid al-Adha", the feast of Sacrifice which is one of the most important holidays in Islamic religion and it coincides with a pilgrimage to the Macca, in Saudi Arabia.

    The death toll is bound to rise, as an Interior Ministry said.

    Ziyad Al-Samarray, a journalist, told Al-Jazeera that many of the victims arrived at Yarmuk Hospital and are not indentified yet.
