    According to a military statement, "A US Marine Corps transport helicopter crashed on 26 January at approximately 1.20am (2220 GMT Tuesday) near al-Rutbah while conducting security and stabilisation operations."

    There are no further information available but the fact happened while a search and rescue operation was on.

    Meanwhile tha Us military reported a car bomb explosion along the way to the Baghdad's international airport, targeting a US convoy.
